Program Overview

Build the Judgment to Use, Govern, and Lead Clinical AI

GCLS+ is a clinician-first, non-degree professional education program for physicians, clinical teams, practice leaders, and healthcare executives who are already being asked to make AI decisions. Across 11 modules, hands-on practice, and a capstone, you learn to evaluate tools, redesign workflows, govern risk, and lead adoption.

You will work through clinical and operational decisions — not abstract technology alone — then turn one problem from your own organization into a practical implementation dossier. The goal is clearer judgment, safer execution, and evidence your leadership team can act on.

Learners who complete the required coursework and capstone earn the GCLS+ Certificate in AI in Healthcare. The program does not grant academic credit, professional licensure, or a regulated clinical specialty credential.

Who This Certification Is Built For

GCLS+ was designed for healthcare professionals who are being asked to make AI decisions — whether or not they feel ready to. If any of these sound like you, the program was built with your week in mind:

  • Practicing physicians and clinical teamswho want AI to take work off their plate — documentation, inbox triage, research summaries, patient communication — without compromising clinical judgment or patient safety

  • Practice owners and operations leaderswho need to automate workflows, protect margins, and modernize how their clinic runs day to day — and want a clear-eyed view of what AI can and cannot deliver

  • Health-system executives and strategy teamswho must decide which AI initiatives to fund, govern, and scale — and defend those decisions to boards, regulators, and their own clinicians

  • Digital health founders and product builderswho want to design and ship agentic, workflow-native AI products that solve problems clinicians and operators actually have

  • Advisors, payers, and policy professionalswho evaluate AI claims on behalf of organizations and shape the standards, coverage decisions, and rules their markets will follow

Built for how healthcare professionals actually learn

Skills you'll use Monday morning

Every module is designed around tasks physicians and clinic leaders actually do. Use AI to draft patient communications, summarize research, automate follow-ups, optimize scheduling, and analyze practice financials — tools that save hours every week, starting immediately.
